Duties and Responsibilities of Author

Originality and Plagiarism: Authors must ensure that their work is original and properly attributed to the original sources when using the work or ideas of others. Plagiarism in any form, including self-plagiarism, is strictly prohibited.

Data and Results: Authors should accurately present their research findings and provide sufficient details to allow others to replicate their work, when applicable. Fabrication, falsification, or manipulation of data and results is unethical and unacceptable.

Authorship: All individuals who have made substantial contributions to the research should be listed as co-authors. Proper acknowledgment should be given to individuals who have contributed in a meaningful way but do not meet the criteria for authorship.

Multiple Submissions and Redundant Publications: Authors should not submit the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously or publish redundant publications. Authors must disclose any related publications or manuscripts under consideration during the submission process.

Conflict of Interest: Authors should disclose any financial or personal relationships that may influence the research or its interpretation. Any potential conflicts of interest must be acknowledged in the manuscript.

Duties and Responsibilities of Reviewers

Confidentiality: Reviewers must treat all manuscripts received for review as confidential documents. They should not share the manuscript or its contents with others without explicit permission from the journal.

Objectivity and Constructive Feedback: Reviewers should evaluate manuscripts objectively and provide unbiased, constructive, and timely feedback to improve the quality of the manuscript. Personal criticism of the authors is inappropriate.

Conflict of Interest: Reviewers should declare any potential conflicts of interest that may affect their impartiality in reviewing a manuscript. If a conflict of interest is identified, reviewers should recuse themselves from the review process.

Duties and Responsibilities of Editors

Editorial Decision: Editors are responsible for making fair and unbiased decisions on manuscript submissions based on their scientific merit, relevance, and originality. Decisions should not be influenced by factors such as the authors' race, gender, ethnicity, or institutional affiliation.

Confidentiality: Editors and editorial staff must keep all information related to the manuscript confidential and ensure that reviewers also adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines.

Peer Review Process: Editors should ensure that a transparent and rigorous peer review process is followed for all manuscripts. They should select qualified reviewers, manage the review process efficiently, and make decisions based on the reviewers' feedback.

Handling Misconduct: Editors should investigate any allegations of misconduct or unethical behavior and take appropriate action in consultation with the journal's editorial board. This includes addressing concerns related to plagiarism, data fabrication, or conflicts of interest.

Handling Misconduct and Allegations

Misconduct: ALTRALANG Journal takes all allegations of misconduct seriously. Any proven cases of plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, redundant publication, or other unethical practices will result in appropriate actions, which may include retraction of the published work.

Reporting Misconduct: Authors, reviewers, or readers who suspect misconduct or unethical behavior in any published work should promptly contact the journal's editorial office. All allegations will be treated confidentially, and appropriate actions will be taken to address the issue.
