Copyright and Licensing
Authors of manuscripts published in the journal Human and Social Studies retain full copyright of their scholarly works. By submitting their manuscripts to the journal, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish, distribute, and archive the article as the official version of record, whether in print or digital formats, while the authors retain ownership of their intellectual rights.

This license permits use, distribution, reproduction, and adaptation in any medium or format, provided that proper attribution is given to the original work. Proper attribution requires citing the author(s), the article title, the journal name, and the year of publication.
Authors retain broad rights to reuse their published works. They may archive preprints, accepted manuscripts, and the final published version (Version of Record) in institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic networking platforms. Authors may also reuse their articles for teaching and scholarly purposes, translate them into other languages, or include them in future publications, provided that the original publication in the journal is clearly acknowledged.
Any subsequent use of the published content must respect the integrity of the scholarly work. Modifications, quotations, or republication must not distort the academic meaning of the article or harm the reputation of the authors or the journal. Third-Party MaterialsThe version published in the journal constitutes the official version of record and is the authoritative reference for citation. Articles may also be indexed in academic databases, repositories, and scholarly indexing platforms while preserving authors’ rights and original publication metadata.
