Digital Archiving Policy
Digital Archiving Policy
The Humanities and Social Studies journal recognizes the importance of preserving scientific content for future generations. Therefore, it adheres to a strict digital archiving policy to ensure that published articles remain permanently available even if the journal ceases operation.
Authorized Digital Repositories:
All research is archived in the Digital Repository of the University of Oran 2 - Mohamed Ben Ahmed, ensuring the preservation of original copies within the parent institution's infrastructure.
Content is preserved and provided through the Algerian Scientific Journal Platform (ASJP), the national gateway ensuring secure and sustainable access to the Algerian scientific archive.
The journal utilizes the LOCKSS, CLOCKSS and PKP PN systems (via the OJS platform) to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries, allowing for the creation of a permanent archive for preservation and restoration purposes.
Furthermore, the journal encourages authors to archive the final version of their research (Publisher’s Version) in their institutional repositories or personal pages immediately after publication to ensure maximum dissemination and digital preservation.
