Role conflict among working and married students and its relationship to their academic compatibility on a sample of students from the University of El-oued

Abstract
The current study aimed to find out the relationship between role conflict and academic compatibility among working and married students. In our study, we relied on the correlative descriptive approach, where the role conflict scale prepared by Labiba Abdel Rahman (2018), and the academic compatibility scale prepared by “Adili” (2016) was used. The study included (50) undergraduate and master’s students at El-Wadi University. to the following results:
- There is a correlation between role conflict and academic compatibility among female students.
- There is a statistically significant correlation between the conflict of self-perception and the academic compatibility of the female students.
- There is a statistically significant correlation between the relationship conflict with the husband and the academic compatibility of the female students.
- There is no statistically significant correlation between the relationship conflict with children and the academic compatibility of the study sample.
- There is a statistically significant correlation between the conflict of view of the study and the academic compatibility of the female students.
- There is a statistically significant correlation between the conflict of outlook for work and the academic compatibility of the female students.
The results of the study were discussed in the light of the theoretical aspect and previous studies. It concluded by presenting a number of proposals addressed to researchers, specialists and the sample.
