The Concept of Accountability Between Michel Mayer and Taha Abdel Rahman

Abstract

It goes without saying that the process of questioning and asking questions is a human artifact that was created with us, as questioning and having an answer is a basic pillar that justifies the map of our human existence. The interaction between us, whether it is an exchange of influence or a transfer of change, depends on the process of questioning and answering as two main pillars of communication and interaction between us in a social environment and a cultural and human space. From this point of view, we wanted to discover new angles of view to approach an important and distinct concept in the intellectual life of man in general, namely the concept of the question and how it is present in our intellectual and cultural life by referring to two distinguished students of this concept, a Western thinker, Michel Meyer, and an Arab-Islamic thinker, Taha Abdel Rahman, each with his cultural drink and his emotional taste and his different cognitive approach to the same concept, namely the concept of the question.
