Abstract

The present study aims to highlight the basic principles of the American approach to early intervention of children with Down’s syndrome from birth to age three, which is one of the most successful global approaches, with its impressive results in the care and rehabilitation of children with Down’s syndrome and their full integration into American society. This prompted us to purpose a vision of the mechanisms for applying this approach in the sections of early intervention for children with Down’s syndrome in psycho-pedagogical centrs in Algeria.
