Demographic characteristics and immigrant preferences in Batna 2003-2008

Abstract
The aim of the study is to find out the characteristics of the population movement in the wilaya of Batna between the year 2003 and 2008, the demographic characteristics of the immigrants are that married people are more emigrated than unmarried people by 70%, and they are young and their ages are between 20-39, and that their educational level is between intermediate and secondary. Whereas, indicators of preference for the residents of Batna wilaya in the period 1998-2008 proved that the residents of Batna wilaya preferred to immigrate to the wilayas of Ouargla and Constantine.
