The urban housing and family transformations in Algeria, a case study of the state of Oran

Abstract
The Algerian family has undergone structural and cultural transformations, the origin of Algerian society is rural, the phenomenon of urbanization had an impact on this change, the family structures resulting in the break-up of extended families, as well as their lifestyles. A strong growth of the urban population has resulted in an increase in the pressure on the housing stock which has led to a strong growth in the real estate market, both public and private.
