Using communication technology to improve the quality of library work a case study of the Mohamed Kabbat Library in the city of Sidi Bel Abbes

Abstract

The article discusses the use of modern communication technologies to improve the quality of libraries through a case study of the Mohamed Kabbati Library in Sidi Bel Abbas. The research aims to identify the modern technological means used in the researched library and to know the limits of its use, and the impact of its use to improve the quality of the services of the library researched. The research finds that despite the diversity and multiplicity of modern technological means available to improve the quality of library work in the researched library, their use was limited, this is due to the poor technical training of librarians, this poses serious problems that limit the effectiveness of the work of libraries in the same situation.
