Abstract

The subject matter of any nature, regardless of its inherent characteristic and distinctions is comprehended and philosophically investigated by adopting more than one approach to shape it and highlight its features, using more than one style to express and articulate it, and employing more than one logic to depict its from trac its movement. Sufism, as a phenomenon and an investigable subject, naturally adheres to this principle, even thought its nature necessitates dealing with it in a way that considers its core components and takes them into account in every intellectual endeavor. This principle applies to any subject that undergoes philosophical scruting. Wthin the context of this work, there is an attumpt to make the reader sees intellectual paths adopted by thinkers in understanding and interpreting the sufi experince, work has manifested within the islamic and christian realms.It is an experience pursued by the One, seeking to reach the ultimate meaning of life and to immerse oneself completly in the absolute, like a butter fly being draw to the glow of light.
