Modern housing and social ties

Abstract
The Algerian family has undergone social and family transformations. Urban housing seems to be the main factor in this change, resulting in the breakdown of extended families. Family transformations had mainly concerned structural and cultural transformations because of several quantitative and qualitative parameters which had influenced the Algerian family, its structure and its mode of procreation as well as its way of life.
