La chronique satirique francophone algérienne à l’épreuve de la médiation The Francophone Algerian Satirical Chronicle Tested by Mediation
Main Article Content
Abstract
ABSTRACT: Perceived by its Francophone readers as a humorous support for social activism through its highly politically engaged discourse, the Francophone Algerian satirical chronicle ("Tranche de vie" in the newspaper "Le Quotidien d'Oran") incorporates various forms of mediation. My research approach in linguistics (Delamotte 2020) aims to highlight and analyze these mediating forms present in the text of the satirical chronicle. The presented statements often emphasize the figure of irony, employed by the author, which goes beyond a mere stylistic device and becomes a distinct enunciative third party (even a speaking third party, according to Peytard 1993) that serves to "mediate" the knowledge, culture, or opinions of the people.
