Abstract
ABSTRACT: This research examines the narrative paradoxes in Ahlam Mosteghanemi's Trilogy, aiming to explore the extent to which the novelist transcends the linearity of time. The arrangement of events is achieved through narrative paradoxes, primarily manifested in retrospection and anticipation. Each paradox possesses its own magnitude and breadth, representing the space between the narrative break and the commencement of recalled or anticipated events. The paradoxes can encompass a specific duration, which may vary in length. Retrospection has predominantly pervaded the textual landscape of the narrative discourse in comparison to anticipation, which serves as a fleeting glimpse of forthcoming events. Thus, Mosteghanemi's trilogy stands out as an exemplary discourse of memory.
الملخص: يعالج هذا البحث المفارقات السردية في ثلاثية أحلام مستغانمي، محاولا الوقوف على مدى اختراق الروائية لخطية الزمن، حيث يتحقق ترتيب الأحداث من خلال المفارقات السردية التي تتمثل أساسا في الاسترجاعات والاستباقات، ويكون لكل مفارقة مدى واتساعا، وهذا المدى هو المجال الفاصل بين نقطة انقطاع السرد، وبداية الأحداث المسترجعة أو المتوقعة، ويمكن أن تغطي المفارقة مدة معينة قد تطول أو تقصر.وقد اكتسح الاسترجاع المساحة النصية للخطاب الروائي،مقارنة بالاستباق الذي أدى دور الومضة الإعلانية لأحداث لاحقة، فكانت الثلاثية خطاب الذاكرة بامتياز.
