The development of critical thinking in light of some modern teaching strategies

Abstract
Critical thinking and its teaching to young people is a key topic that has preoccupied education because of its significance in empowering teachers and learners with basic skills in teaching and learning. Aspects of this importance are evident in the tendency of educators to adopt teaching and learning strategies.
The goal of teaching critical thinking skills is the acquisition and practice of these skills, thus developing a spirit of inquiry and research; therefore, the aim of this research is to demonstrate the significance of some modern teaching strategies in developing critical thinking skills among learners.
