الملخص

   The form of education has become a prominent subject in the sociology of education due to its importance in various societies. It holds symbolic value in itself, which has led researchers and professionals in this field to focus on understanding the process of education in human societies. Structuralism, as presented by Pierre Bourdieu, offers us an array of concepts that have significantly influenced the field of the sociology of education. Bourdieu's theory includes a set of interrelated concepts aimed at dissecting and understanding the mechanisms at play within the educational field. His theory prominently features concepts essential to his sociological interpretations presented in his various writings, such as reproduction, habitus, and different forms of capital. These theoretical and methodological pillars form the basis of Bourdieu's analysis.As students of the field of the sociology of education, these concepts have piqued our interest, prompting us to question their applicability to our Algerian socio-educational context, given the differences in the nature of society. If the theory presented by Pierre Bourdieu can be considered a meta-sociological theory, how can we apply it to education in our Algerian society?.
