الملخص

The research aims to study the phenomenon of social media addiction and its implications on children's lives, through an analysis of the psychological, social, and educational effects that may result from excessive use of these platforms. It reviews the risks that children face due to this addiction, such as sleep disorders, anxiety, depression, and declining academic performance, not to mention weakened social skills and loss of personal communication. It reveals the reasons behind the spread of this phenomenon, such as the easy availability of technology, social influences, and the absence of parental supervision. The research presents realistic solutions to curb the rapid spread of this phenomenon, which include increasing parental supervision, regulating children's internet usage time, and activating awareness programs that encourage safe technology use.
