Abstract
Media and Information Education is a new practice of the media, it is a critical and distanced reading of their contents and an introduction to languages. The introduction of media education in the school is a necessity for the development of a competence of selection and interpretation of information.
The purpose of this research is to study the practice of Media and Information Education in Algeria from the point of view of the teachers. The current research aims to give a realistic image on the practice of activities related to media education in the Algerian school including the CEM and the Lycées.
