The Arab self and the moment of philosophical awareness of Nassif Nassar

Abstract

In order to overcome the deplorable condition state, the Arab self-development requires a high degree of awareness. The latter, is essentially formed through the active reflection of mind and reason. By doing so, we would realize the meaning of awareness of our problems that hinder the movement of creativity, and the philosophical advancement. We would also draw a milestone of philosophical independence, aspire to open a new intellectual horizon that makes us in the level of real competition with the other and what it produces as knowledge. That is achievable if the Arab individual possesses the will and broader freedom. Therefore, the Arab development and philosophical creativity can only be attained by self- awareness.
