Philosophy of Volunteerism for a Compassionate Society

Abstract

 This research paper aims to demonstrate the importance of voluntary work in social and cultural life, so we relied on the analytical method in this study in order to analyze the structure of this valuable act with a valuable philosophical vision, by highlighting the views of some philosophers about this work and knowing how it was practiced in life, emphasizing the necessity of spreading the culture of voluntary work by developing visions and cultivating positive concepts that encourage charitable work, and from the results of this study we reached that with voluntary work the instinctive energy turns into moral energy, that is, thinking turns from the instinctive mind circle (love of possession, love of control, love of fame). To the circle of ethical thinking, love for the good of others, cooperation, charity, and its latent benefit also on the soul and intellect by reforming the soul and developing it with spiritual values and most importantly creating a compassionate society, where volunteer work contributes to raising awareness of the value of responsibility for the volunteer and also in developing his intellectual and creative skills, because charitable work dyes the life of the volunteer with lofty meanings in the art of living Through intellectual and value virtues .
