Abstract

The novels of Amrou Abdelhamid are literary discourses distinct from the familiar models in current Arab novelistic creativity, based on the modernity principles and artistic creation theory. The writer was able to combine the depth of the miraculous narrative experience; which relies on strange and metaphysical images far removed from natural reality, and the real multiple cultural patterns. These creative models represents a strategy that requires choices of topics and various narrative components and their interactive relationships. Reaching the utmost significance in these novels requires an effort that relies on strong analytical mechanisms, in accordance with contemporary critical approaches; which looks at the different structures of discourse, in addition to the element of interpretation, which plays a role in decoding the ambiguity accompanying these texts.
