Sports media and violence among supporters

Abstract
This research paper is aimed at examining the manifestations of violence in playgrounds and the influence of sports media on supporters following the trend towards violence and hooliganism. The nature of violence in sports stadiums, and the role of sports media in generating such violence, the study concludes that there is a role for some media news and the way in which the news is handled in influencing supporters and thus their tendency towards aggression and violence in sports stadiums.
