The Impact of Academic Achievement Motivation on Major Satisfaction Among University students A Field Study at Khemis Miliana University

Abstract
The study aimed to examine the impact of academic achievement motivation on students' major satisfaction, to achieve this, the researcher administered the Academic Achievement Motivation Scale to a randomly selected sample of 148 undergraduate students from Khamis Miliana University. The research methodology adopted was descriptive and analytical in nature. The findings revealed the following:
- Academic achievement motivation significantly influences students' satisfaction with their academic major, particularly among second-year undergraduate students majoring in Guidance and Counseling within the Department of Psychology and Educational Sciences.
- There are statistically significant differences in academic achievement motivation among second-year undergraduate students majoring in Guidance and Counseling within the Department of Psychology and Educational Sciences.
