A Field Study on the Identification Methods of Learning Disabilities in Algerian Schools The Case of Writing Difficulty

Abstract
The present study aims to diagnose writing difficulties among primary school repeaters in selected schools in the municipality of Lioua, Biskra Province. Adopting a descriptive methodology, the study employs various diagnostic tools, including interviews, analysis of students’ notebooks, and the Draw-a-Person test. The findings indicate a significant prevalence of writing difficulties, reflected in several manifestations such as illegible handwriting, overlapping letters, and confusion between similar-looking letters.
