Legal Problems of Incitement through Social Media: Comparative Study

Abstract

The world is currently witnessing a huge revolution in information technology, and with the expansion of social media, its use has begun to go beyond the exchange of compliments and pictures. From time to time, multiple other new uses for social networking sites have begun to appear, and the most dangerous aspect is their use in committing crimes such as the crime of incitement, that has increased recently, which imposed on the state the need to adapt to it, by setting up a legal system that goes with emerging developments on the international and national arena, the aim of this study is to shed light on this type of crime in terms of criminalization and punishment.
