I. Policy Statement

Passerelle is a Diamond Open Access journal.

We are fundamentally committed to the principle that scholarly knowledge is a public good. Our mission is to ensure barrier-free access to research for both authors and readers, and our publication model is non-commercial and fully supported by our host institution.

Therefore, publication in Passerelle is entirely free of charge.

II. Scope of No Charges

To be unequivocally clear, authors are not, and will not be, charged for any part of the publication process. Passerelle does not levy any Article Processing Charges (APCs), Submission Fees, Page Charges, Charges for Color Figures, or any other fees related to the processing, review, or publication of a manuscript.

III. Institutional Funding and Rationale

Passerelle is the official scientific publication of the Laboratory of Creation of Educational Tools and Learning in Foreign Languages (LOAPL), an integral part of the Faculty of Foreign Languages at the University of Oran 2 Mohamed Ben Ahmed.

As such, all operational and publication costs are covered by the laboratory's institutional budget. This funding model is part of our host institution's core mission to support and disseminate scholarship.

IV. Relation to Other Policies

This non-commercial, institutionally-funded model is the financial foundation of our Open Access Policy, which guarantees that all articles are published under a CC BY-NC 4.0 (NonCommercial) license, and our Copyright Policy, which ensures authors retain full copyright.
