Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the challenges of integrating ChatGPT into French as aForeign Language (FFL) teaching in the Algerian context. It specifically analyzes itsimpact on learner motivation, risks of pedagogical dehumanization, and emerging ethicalconcerns. The findings reveal a tension between the growing adoption of this tool and theenduring attachment to human-centered teaching approaches. The results highlight theneed for a balanced framework that reconciles technological innovation with thepreservation of core educational values.

Résumé : Cette étude analyse les enjeux de l'intégration de ChatGPT dans l'enseignement du français langue étrangère en contexte algérien. Elle examine particulièrement son impact sur la motivation des apprenants, les risques de déshumanisation pédagogique et les défis éthiques émergents. L'analyse révèle une tension entre l'adoption croissante de cet outil et la persistance d'attachement aux dimensions humaines de l'enseignement. Les résultats soulignent la nécessité d'un cadre d'utilisation équilibré, conciliant innovation technologique et préservation des valeurs éducatives fondamentales.
