ORCID Integration

Enhancing transparency, accessibility, and impactful publishing

At the International Journal of Multilingualism and Languages for Specific Purposes (IJMLSP), we are committed to fostering transparent, accessible, and impactful academic publishing. In line with this commitment, we are proud to announce that all articles published in our journal are indexed under our unique ORCID ID, ensuring proper attribution, discoverability, and integration into the global academic ecosystem.

What Does This Mean for Our Authors?

As part of our ORCID integration, every article published in IJMLSP is linked to our journal’s ORCID iD, ensuring all metadata is indexed and research is traceable. Here’s how this benefits authors:

  • Permanent, Verifiable Record: Each publication is permanently linked to our ORCID iD, ensuring consistent attribution and discoverability.
  • Seamless Citation Tracking: Work is automatically linked to your ORCID profile for accurate citation tracking globally.
  • Global Visibility: ORCID connection enhances discoverability across institutions, researchers, and databases worldwide.
  • Simplified Author Identification: Unique author IDs prevent confusion with similar names, distinguishing your scholarly output.

Why ORCID? How It Works?

ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) provides researchers with a unique, persistent identifier connecting them to their scholarly work across platforms. By integrating ORCID, IJMLSP ensures accurate indexing and easy access to research. Being indexed on ORCID enhances discoverability, reliability, and integrity of academic attribution.

How It Works
  • Automatic Linking: Metadata (titles, abstracts, DOIs) is indexed via our ID.
  • Easy Discovery: Direct access within the global ORCID network.
  • Persistent Identifier: Our iD remains unchanged, securing past and future records.
Benefits for Authors
  • Increased Impact: Enhanced visibility institutional reach.
  • Simplified Tracking: Easier citation management.
  • Reliable Attribution: Proper recognition of your field contributions.

Register Your ORCID iD

IJMLSP strongly recommends that all authors register with ORCID. This ensures a unique, persistent identifier for accurate attribution and improves discoverability. Corresponding authors should include ORCID, and co-authors are also recommended to do so. ORCID IDs will be published alongside accepted papers.
