Repository Policy
Open Access & Manuscript Deposit Guidelines
1. Purpose
At IJMLSP, we support open access to research and encourage authors to deposit their manuscripts in reputable repositories. This policy aims to increase the visibility of scholarly work in multilingualism and languages for specific purposes, ensuring that research reaches a global audience.
2. Repository Options
The following repositories are recommended:
- Institutional: University-hosted platforms
- General: Zenodo, SSRN
- Subject-Specific: HAL, RePEc, E-LIS
- International: ResearchGate, Academia, figshare
3. Types of Manuscripts
- Preprints: Manuscripts before peer review
- Postprints: Peer-reviewed versions, post-revision
- Final Version: The version as it appears in the journal
4. Time of Deposit
Preprints may be deposited before submission to IJMLSP. Postprints and Final Published Versions may be deposited after acceptance or publication in the journal.
5. Compliance
Deposits should align with IJMLSP's copyright and open-access policies. Authors must confirm their version and ensure that they adhere to our journal requirements. SHERPA/RoMEO can help guide you on the compatibility of your deposit.
6. Metadata
Authors must provide accurate metadata, including Title, abstract, authorship, keywords, and Version (preprint, postprint, or final).
7. Long-Term Access
All deposited manuscripts will be freely accessible, ensuring long-term preservation and widespread dissemination of research.
We encourage authors to deposit their manuscripts in repositories that align with open-access principles. This policy ensures IJMLSP's research is visible, impactful, and compliant with global open-access standards.
