Special Issues are dedicated to specific and timely topics within the scope of the journal, offering a comprehensive and in-depth exploration of the subject matter. Curated by Guest Editors, these issues feature contributions such as high-quality research articles, book reviews, and case studies, ensuring scholarly rigor and relevance.
Proposal Submission
Guest Editor(s) must submit a proposal including:
- Title of the Special Issue: Concise, clear, engaging, accurately reflecting the theme. Avoid overly broad terms.
- Overview: Briefly describe the theme and its relevance to current research trends.
- Rationale: Explain why this topic is timely, important, and deserving of a dedicated issue.
- Scope and Objectives: Outline primary goals and questions the issue will address.
- Themes/Sub-Themes: Detail research areas and break the central theme into subtopics.
- Expected Contributions: Describe expected paper types (original research, reviews, theoretical papers, etc.).
- Relevance to the Journal: Ensure alignment with IJMLSP’s mission and readership.
- Guest Editors & Reviewers Details: Provide names, affiliations, contacts, brief bios, editorial experience, and international perspectives.
Proposals should be submitted to the Editorial Office for review and approval by the executive committee.
Role of Guest Editor(s)
- Promote the Special Issue and invite contributions.
- Manage peer review in coordination with the journal’s editorial office.
- Ensure all submissions meet journal standards.
- Write an editorial/preface for the Special Issue.
- Maintain ethical standards and avoid conflicts of interest.
Submission and Review Process
- All manuscripts must be submitted via the journal’s submission system.
- Authors must select the Special Issue title when submitting.
