The International Journal of Multilingualism and Languages for Specific Purposes (IJMLSP) aims to advance scholarly research on multilingual communication in specialized domains by providing an international platform for the dissemination of theoretical, empirical, and methodological studies in the fields of Multilingualism, Languages for Specific Purposes (LSP), and English for Academic Purposes (EAP). The journal places particular emphasis on the role of multilingual practices in shaping communication, knowledge construction, and learning in academic and professional contexts across diverse international settings.
The journal seeks to promote interdisciplinary dialogue across the fields of applied linguistics, multilingualism studies, discourse analysis, translation studies, terminology, and professional communication, with a focus on theoretically grounded, methodologically rigorous, and pedagogically relevant scholarship that addresses the complexities of language use in specialized domains.
The journal encourages interdisciplinary perspectives and welcomes contributions from scholars and practitioners in applied linguistics, education, communication studies, and related fields. Submissions may adopt qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-methods approaches, provided they demonstrate methodological rigor and make a clear contribution to the advancement of research and practice in multilingualism, LSP, and EAP.
