New Approach of Teaching Foreign Languages: The passage from one language to another Why Translate? What to translate? How to translate?

By highlighting the very specificity of each language, translation can be a vector of mediation between languages and cultures. It can indeed contribute when it remains focused on the meaning more than on the form, so that the native of a language learning a second language becomes better aware of the functioning and the originality of each of the two languages.
