Traduction et Langues TRANSLANG
Traduction et Langues TRANSLANG is a double-blind, peer-reviewed, semiannual, and open-access journal. TRANSLANG publishes original research that advances theoretical, empirical, methodological, and interdisciplinary approaches to translation, interpreting, language, discourse, multilingualism, and language-mediated communication. The journal welcomes research that examines language practices in social, cultural, educational, cognitive, technological, and professional contexts.
The journal's areas of interest include Translation Studies, Interpreting Studies, Applied Linguistics, Discourse Studies, Sociolinguistics, Multilingualism, Terminology, Corpus Linguistics, Language Pedagogy, Translation and Language Technologies, Audiovisual Translation, and related areas of language research.
TRANSLANG particularly encourages research that connects translation and language sciences through innovative methodologies, empirical investigation, corpus-based approaches, experimental research, interdisciplinary perspectives, and emerging technologies. Since its establishment in 2002, TRANSLANG has developed an international scholarly profile and welcomes contributions from researchers working across geographical, linguistic, disciplinary, and methodological boundaries.
Publishing Languages
- • Manuscripts may be submitted in English, French, Spanish, or German. Authors must use a consistent and recognized standard variety of the chosen language.
- • Italian and Russian may be accepted for designated special issues.

Aims & Vision
Traduction et Langues TRANSLANG welcomes diverse theoretical, empirical, methodological, argumentative, scientometric, and applied approaches to advance research in Translation Studies, Language Sciences, Interpreting Studies, Applied Linguistics, and Multilingual Communication. It seeks to enhance the visibility of researchers across the Maghreb, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and the wider international scholarly community. The journal aims to foster interdisciplinary and international scholarly exchange, encouraging dialogue between translation and language research and promoting deeper understanding of linguistic, cultural, social, educational, cognitive, professional, and technological contexts.
